Manufactured from 50 square box section and fitted with a 12mm thick baseplate, which is fully welded to the shank of the post. Top of post fitted with black nylon cap. Base plate of post to have 16 diameter holes for anchor fixings. Sides of post to have holes drilled and tapped for fitting of infill panels. Posts available with or without handrail bracket.

ZuBar System

ZuBar is our simple but quality, cost effective, fast track vertical bar railing system, available in a range of finishes and designed for indoor or outdoor applications. The system incorporates a selection of our standard engineered components that are available to order online and delivered promptly to your door.

Being a modular balustrade system, ZuBar has been developed to be self-built and adapted with ease, and provide a low maintenance, linear edge protection that is functional yet modern and complimentary to the surroundings.

In its simplest form ZuBar has been installed as a railing system in a wide variety of situations, such as hi-vis protective barriers around factory machinery, and as a guardrail around mezzanine floors or plant room access platforms and walkways. It is particularly suited to walk out balconies.

Indeed, with the addition of a handrail, ZuBar is an ideal off the shelf balustrade solution and the system has been utilised extensively on terraces, atriums and galleries within projects nationwide.

ZuBar balustrade for staircases

ZuBar balustrade has been supplied as edge protection on many prestigious projects around the country and can be found not only on terraces, balconies and atriums etc but also on many multi flight feature staircases either front or back of house.

The same up to date manufacture procedures and practices that we use for balcony balustrade systems have been adopted for our stair core balustrades, which again make ZuBar an attractive, fast track and cost effective solution.

A few simple details from the customer are enough for us to design and manufacture a made to fit balustrade for most staircases. With a stock of pre-fabricated components we are able to offer a quick turn around for most staircase requirements.

ZuBar infill panels

Manufactured with a flat bar outer edging frame and 12 square vertical infill bars fully welded within the frame at max 99mm clear spaces. The outer frame has slotted fixing holes for bolting to a balustrade post.

Two types of infill panel available:

Standard infill panel (rectangular panel)
Corner panel (90° corner)

Infill panels are fastened to supporting balustrade posts with socket button security screws and nylon spacers.

ZuBar handrail

Manufactured from 42.4 o/all diameter circular hollow section and supplied in 3.0m lengths.

Handrails seated on adjustable saddle type brackets fitted to front face of balustrade posts. Adjoining handrails are connected by means of internal ‘knock in’ type handrail connectors, to provide a smooth flush joint. Handrail connectors sold separately. Tube end fittings and inserts are available.
